Hi, my name is Dmytro.

I am a Software Engineer at Google DeepMind working on Gemini Post-training.

My previous experience.

• I previously worked as a Software Engineer at Google in the Assistant Health and Fitness team. There I migrated legacy Assistant C++ infra to Dart together with developing debugging tools and implementing usage metrics monitoring, alerting systems, and a leadership reporting dashboard.
• Before that I worked as a Research Software Engineer at Ablacon. There I developed an AI-based diagnosis system that enables doctors to cure Atrial Fibrillation.
• I hold a Doctor of Science degree from ETH Zurich. There I was developing fundamental limits of deep learning and deep generative modeling at the Chair for Mathematical Information Science under the supervision of Prof. Helmut Bölcskei.
• I hold a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. There I majored in Signal Processing. I did my master thesis at ETH Zurich as a part of Data Analytics Lab under supervision of Prof. Martin Jaggi.
• In the meantime I worked as a Data Science Intern at ABB Corporate Research. There I developed tools to automatically analyse user navigation behavior on ABB website to get some meaningful insights.
• Before that I got a bachelor diploma in Applied Math and Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. There I majored in Intelligent Data Analysis as a part of Machine Intelligence Laboratory headed by Dr. Konstantin Vorontsov.

I am enthusiastic about machine learning, statistics and all aspects of neural networks. My areas of expertise and/or interest include the following points.

• Deep learning: CNNs, RNNs, generative networks, autoregressive models, natural language processing applications.
• Statistics/Probability theory: regression, Markov chains, stochastic processes.
• Time series analysis: trends/anomalies detection, ECG, speech, sound.
